ABOUT GIFTS FOR GOLD

GIFTS FOR GOLD was formed in 2009 by Anthony Holdampf, owner of Cash for Gold based out of Westport, Connecticut. After being approached by Saint Ann Parish in Bridgeport, CT to run a gold fundraiser, they realized that the cash for gold business was perfectly positioned to benefit not only church fundraisers, but also school fundraisers, charity events and non-profit fundraisers.

With most Charities down 30% in 2009 due to lost jobs, decreased salaries, uncertainty about the future, they wanted to share this easy and fun way for both participants and Charities to raise money. It’s easy, has no upfront costs, and most importantly, is transparent. Market prices are at all time highs and Gifts for Gold is a great way for participants to sell gold jewelry that is broken or they no longer wear, while simultaneously helping a charity or cause that they care about.
